The festive season begins on Tuesday, 25th November at Cleaver & Wake, and we look forward to you enjoying a truly memorable experience with us. Our friendly reception team will greet you and invite you to head to the bar to enjoy a glass of Champagne, or one of our hand-crafted cocktails.

Then it’s time to head to our elegantly decorated restaurant for the main event, where you can relax, enjoy the quality food, drinks and service you expect from us here at Cleaver & Wake.

Our festive menus are everything you would expect from Cleaver & Wake. From succulent Balmoral venison, to beautifully prepared turkey papillote and exquisite fish & vegetarian dishes to choose from, we have dishes to suit everybody’s palates.

The bar will be serving post dinner drinks, so we invite you to stay as long as you wish.

Our talented chef team have curated menus perfect for the festive season. Every dish is created using the very best seasonal ingredients with bold flavour pairings. It’s the Cleaver & Wake way.

Venison, pheasant & smoked bacon terrine, cured Loch Duart salmon or steak tartare make the perfect start. With highland venison haunch, fillet of Cornish cod or our signature beef Wellington to follow.

It’s Christmas, so desserts are a must. Christmas spiced cheesecake, clementine posset, or our warm chocolate fondant, choosing may be the hardest part.

Upgrade your seasonal celebrations with our festive lunch menu and experience daytime dining, Cleaver and Wake style, where only the finest seasonal ingredients are transformed into bold and sophisticated flavours by our expert chef team.

Begin with a choice of our chicken liver parfait, complemented by bitter orange gel, crispy chicken skin & toasted brioche, or why not try our parsnip soup with roasted chestnut and parsnip crisp.

For your main course, embrace tradition with our turkey papillote, apricot & cranberry stuffing, potato terrine, bread sauce and turkey jus, a quintessential choice for the season.

To finish, enjoy the seasonal spices of our Christmas spiced cheesecake , ginger crumb topped with brandy ice cream. And, of course, no festive lunch is complete without a cheese plate!
