New Year’s Eve Party – Upstairs at Cleaver & Wake

Thursday 31st, December £95 PER PERSON

Welcome 2027 in style in our stunning events space. Situated on the top floor of the iconic 1 The Island Quarter Building with panoramic views across the city, Upstairs at Cleaver and Wake is the place to celebrate New Year’s Eve 2026!

You will be welcomed with a glass of bubbles and a canape reception upon arrival, followed by a three course dinner from a menu created by the Cleaver & Wake chef team. Entertainment will be provided by our house DJ, who will keep you dancing way past midnight.

19:00 – Welcome drinks reception & canapes

19:45 – 3 course meal

22:00 – DJ and dancing

01:00 – event ends.

We request the ticket price of £95 per person as a non-refundable or transferrable deposit. Please advise our team if any of the group has any dietary requirements at least two weeks before the event.

Tables are a maximum of 10 people. Groups sizes between 2 – 9 people will be seated on a shared table with other guests and all guests must purchase in one transaction to guarantee to be sat together.

Burns Night 2027 In Partnership with Glenmorangie

Saturday 23rd, January £75 PER PERSON

Join us on Saturday 23rd as we collaborate with Glenmorangie for our returning Burns Night dinner, paying tribute to Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, with an evening of tradition, flavour, and celebration.

The Feast 

Kick things off with a whisky themed welcome cocktail, then enjoy a specially curated menu featuring Scottish classics reimagined with Cleaver & Wake signature flair. Expect the finest haggis, neeps, tatties and much more, honouring the spirit of Burns Night.

The Toast

Raise a dram of Glenmorangie whisky as we share the immortal words of Burns, accompanied by live bagpipes and a ceremonial address to the haggis.

The Celebration

Then Immerse yourself in the warmth of Scottish hospitality with two hours of music from a live ceilidh band, poetry and much more in our stunning event venue.

Dress code: smart attire with tartan and kilts encouraged.

Lassies, if you are wearing heels, bring a change of shoes for the ceilidh.

Wedding Open Day 2027

Sunday 24th, January

Join us in our stunning top-floor events space, Upstairs at Cleaver & Wake, for our annual wedding open day.

The day will spotlight our specially curated list of local suppliers and contacts, and allow you to meet the team at Cleaver & Wake who will make your special day run smoothly.

Our talented in-house chef team will be showcasing some delicious bites from our menu, and our events team will be on hand to answer any questions or queries!

Our events space will be setup ready to showcase the options available for your special day including ceremony and table setups plus we will have an exclusive wedding open day offer for any special couples who book their date.

There will be two sessions, 11am – 12:30pm and 12:30pm – 2pm. Entry is free, but we ask that you to register your interest via the link below to allow us to manage numbers.
